Use the form at the link below to submit your personal information to the HoustonPOD to consider your membership. The HoustonPOD holds meetings once every month on the second Tuesday of each month. Regular meetings are held at Blanco's, at 6:00 PM for the social hour with the official meetings starting at 7:00 PM. Go to the newsletters section on the main webpage. Each newsletter contains a map showing approximately where Blanco's is located. Write down the address and use it for the street address, note: some of the internet maps actually show the location approximately a block and a half from where it actually is, the address of Blanco's is 3406 West Alabama. Check back at this website for a schedule of any other special HoustonPOD membershiip meetings. Once each quarter, we have a joint meeting with all four of the Houston POD groups. This membership form will be E-mailed to the HoustonPOD membership group for processing. Expect an E-mail from the HoustonPOD membership group within a few days, possibly a week later, depending on vacations, major chili cook-offs, business etc. Some E-mail configurations and many Firewall programs will give you error or warning messages stating that this program is sending personal information over the internet. Yes it is, and some hackers may possibly be able to view the information as it is not encrypted. Review the information that we have requested, there is not very much real personal information, but you must decide on this. In the future, we plan to use secure methods to transmit your personal information. We do not share your information with anyone outside of our club or the CASI organization. Reply to your error or warning messages indicating it is OK to send this information providing you agree with the security issues at hand. If you do not want to send the information requested in the form over the internet as an E-mail, you may print out the next to the last page of any of our newsletters, which is a membership application form, and mail it to the address indicated for increased security.
